I read review after review of this TV and bought it with the intention of putting it in my bedroom. Didn’t even take it out of the box…that’s how small it was. So unfortunately I can’t comment on the quality, but I will say that Sharp or no Sharp…too much money for not enough TV!

This TV would’ve been perfect but for the poor sound quality. I plan on buying computer speakers for this TV just to boost the poor sound quality.

We got 2 of these to use as monitors for video production and both of them looked awful. The image was noisy and blurry. We tried different settings, different kinds of cables etc and nothing made a discernable difference. We used Y-Pr-Pb component cables, S-video and composite. Believe it or not, the composite cables looked better than the component! I suggested we take a look at a 19″ AOC which is currently even cheaper than this one. We hooked it up to one of our cameras and it was a night and day difference. The SD mode on the AOC looks better than the HD mode on this Sharp.

We returned a 15″ Polaroid TV because the sound was so tinny it hurt our ears. We bought this 19″ Sony instead because the frame around it is so sleek it fit in the small cabinet shelf that no other 19″ TV fit into. It was easy to set up, the picture is beautiful, the sound/volume is perfect. Pretty good view from side angles. Very happy with this product.

I wanted a TV for my home office and felt a 19 inch set would be more than adequate. We own a 36″ Sharp for our downstairs family room which is now about 3 1/2 years old. We love its picture and quality so I looked for a Sharp if possible.
I found this set at Wal-Mart for $168.00 which I thought was a good price. All I did was unpack it, attach the coaxial cable and plug it in. I haven’t fussed with any adjustments. The sound is perfectly fine for my 12′ by 9′ foot office. I think this set is great for this kind of location or in a kitchen.
